Canungra Hotel Rodeo -

Enjoy all the Rodeo action at Canungra Showground, Coburg Road, Canungra.

​Gates open at 11am. Pre events and heats will be run until approximately 2pm.  Main events run until approximately 8pm with barrel  racing, poddy rides, bareback riding, calf roping and much more until the night ends with some of the country's top cowboys in the bull ride.

Watch the action live in the arena and see all the replays on the 15 square metre big screen.

A mechanical bull on site for anyone who wants to get really involved in the action!

Bring a blanket or outdoor chairs to get a possie on the hill looking into the arena for all the action. It does get cold, so rug up, but that adds to the atmosphere in our beautiful surrounds. There are food vendors on the grounds, as well as a canteen. There will be a licensed bar operating from 12 noon until late, with live music as soon as the last rodeo event is finished (the bull ride is expected to be finished at 8pm) until midnight.

Please note:  Due to licensing restrictions, there is strictly no alcohol to be brought onto the grounds. Bags and vehicles will be inspected.  Alcohol can be purchased on site and must be consumed in the designated licensed areas.
